this is not on a dodge, but its a cooling system all the same and i am at my wits end. its on my 68 chevy (pardon my language) anyway, its a 68 bel air, 350 engine bored 30 with a mild cam, edelbrock intake and carb, and a/c, other then that there are no mods. the car came with a 327, and a/c btw.

john, the original fan it was running was on it when all this started. first thought was poor air flow, so we changed it to a better one, didnt work, so then i went and bought a new clutch and put the stock one on it, still no improovment.
rocky, i have checked and double checked that this car has all its rubber flaps and gaskets for air flow. i wish i could find one missing. it never had any air dams, even the high end of this modle didnt.
today i ran a compression check, got 140psi straight across the board. so i did a leak down check, 2.5hours and it maintains 15psi without a drop in pressure. so i guess that eliminates a head gasket or cracked head. now im really stumped and out of tests to run. gonna try a suggestion and run my after market trans cooler instead of just the stock configuration. been meaning to put it on, just havent taken the time to do so. see if it helps at all. ill keep you posted, keep the ideas coming, ill try about anything at this point.
