I know someone who has a 1985 Dodge truck, excellent condition and only 77,000. He wants to trade it in under the cash for clunkers program...noooooooo. Don't do that to a classic like that.

Not entirely true...The drivetrain cannot be resold but all other parts can for a certain amount of time. Anything remaining after the time limit must be destroyed.

It wasn't Bob(Dylan, I assume). That song was written by Joe Egan and Gerry Rafferty of the band Stealers Wheel. I believe Joe Egan was the singer but I can't verify.
