I know someone who has a 1985 Dodge truck, excellent condition and only 77,000. He wants to trade it in under the cash for clunkers program...noooooooo. Don't do that to a classic like that.

I can only give so much credence to the thoughts of 'idiots' and 'half-wits' etc when speaking of these guys and gals. Fact is many are tie-dyed throwback 60's radicals who slimed their way to the top of the shark-feeding frenzy called politics. The mantra back then was to overthrow American Capitalism, undermine the government structure, weaken the nation, pal up with the various Communist & Socialist countries & regimes, subvert the moral structure of the country, bury big business & take God out of America.
They wanted the clunkers, they got them. They wanted the banks, they got them. They wanted the big businesses, they got them. They wanted the schools, they got them. They wanted to control America right down to the mortgages on people's possessions, they do. They wanted to destroy people's respect for this country's founding principles, they have. They wanted to lay waste to the entire Capitalist landscape, they have. They wanted to throw God out of the national identity, they have.
For a bunch of stupid idiots they've done a pretty good job of realizing their goals while the rest of America snoozed. We've been sold out in just about every way possible except for the last finishing touches and that's precisely what we're seeing now. If America as a people doesn't WAKE UP WIDE AWAKE RIGHT NOW this show is over, and the curtain will fall, the new Iron Curtain of our imprisonment as a people and a sovereign nation...!
