Jimmie, do you KNOW thats why engineers put the loop there or are you assuming it?? You talk like you personally discussed this with the guys of the time and are aware of the internal operations of the Corp.
It was a simple question which was given a simple answer.
I could assume the loop was there to save money instead of using a rubber line, more fittings etc. especially if the engine has rear mounts that don`t flex to much.
I can`t see how a loop would stop hammering anyhow.
