John, if you're talking about the hood release catch all my later trucks have had that, the extra hooked lever that must be pulled. We were talking about hinges, not latches, so it was confusing. Thought you might be talking about the first stop of hood, before it then opens against the stops.

Yes, John, just like everybody else here, I am giving information from memory. But hours spent on many days sitting in that truck's engine bay with the hood fully open are quite accurate. It got an engine swap & other upgrades, so I recall the hoist clearance also.
