It appears the original factory oil pressure gauge had a rubber hose directly attatched to the block on my 65. Ive been running a aftermarket gauge. To hook the factory gauge up is it as simple as putting a barbed nipple fitting in the block and sending the rubber hose to the gauge? Any problems wi

Norm, high pressure rubber hose is common - ie, look at your nearest backhoe.
Yes I am aware of them, just don't recommend them. Find a gauge that has copper lines.
...and... High pressure hydraulic lines are a bit different than 1/8" hose...and those backhoes and loaders go through hydraulic lines like food through a goose. At least a hose per every 300 hours, not really an acceptable rate for a car.
