It appears the original factory oil pressure gauge had a rubber hose directly attatched to the block on my 65. Ive been running a aftermarket gauge. To hook the factory gauge up is it as simple as putting a barbed nipple fitting in the block and sending the rubber hose to the gauge? Any problems wi

Russ Roth, I priced the braided stainless on my last one. after I quit gasping for air I decided if the plain rubber lasted 40 years that was good enough for me. not to mention todays rubber lines are far superior to what they had when the truck was made.
LOL. You are right, not cheap. I think the line cost $27 over 10 years ago, plus a fitting to hook it up.
