I'm loving the idea of acheiving 20mpg hwy. And I'm looking fwd to getting that engine up to snuff in the not too distant future.
What are your thoughts on running a Rochester Quadrajet, as that is supposed to give increased performance on hwy while
not compromising performance around town, and also delivering good FE. This would end the debate on 2BBl vs 4BBL IMO?
I know nothing about them other than what I've read.
Most of my driving is around town . . and don't see that aspect changing, as I'm retired and no longer have a daily fwy commute.
That, combined with the noise in the cab at high speed which is a whole different topic.
I see the preponderance of my driving being basically cruising 2 lane Calif hwys at relaxed clips and around town.
In other words . . pleasure driving, errands, and cruising.
