Just to clarify, the engine stickers normally say 200 or 202 HP and the Data tags say 164 HP. The tag is the measurement at the rear wheels, the engine sticker is HP at the flywheel, so 260 vs. 200 is 60 HP, if we had a car Data tag to look at it most likely would say 200 HP, again a 60 HP difference with the 4bbl carb and intake and possibly a VERY slight cam change. (note the Data Tag says "net HP".)
The 383 was the only Mopar engine that was run in both truck and car "as is". All others had some modification for durability when run in the trucks.
