Anyways, I did find an "estimated" 60 hp gain. How do I know 60+ hp was correct without a dyno.?
For one thing tons of competitive experience,.

Just to clarify, the 60 HP number comes from Dodge, 58-60 depending upon which 2bbl data you read. The spec sheet on the 318 Poly shows 202 HP with the 2bbl and 260 HP with the 4bbl. That however is with the 318-1 installed into a car body, as that was the only factory 4bbl option. All other specs, including cam are unknown, but I would think that both the cam and timing are a tad different in the cars.
FrankyB's Poly ran the Edelbrock/Wieand combo, a low and mid range rpm cam and the DTA Headers, along with the Mopar performance ignition kit and my own special porting on the heads and intake. Mopar double roller timing chain and a few other goodies that are standard on all of my engines.
